1.  Important Safety Notice and Intended Use  

1.1  Intended Use: The OIS child seat (the 'Product') is designed strictly for children who meet the specific age, weight, and height requirements stated in the Product Manual. It must only be fitted to compatible adult bicycles as explicitly detailed in the installation instructions. 

1.2  Consumer Responsibility: By purchasing and using this Product, you acknowledge that cycling with a child involves inherent risks. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that: (a) The Product is correctly installed and checked before every journey. (b) Your child is securely buckled and wearing an approved safety helmet at all times. (c) The addition of the Product alters the balance and handling of your bicycle, and you must adjust your riding style accordingly. 

2.  Limitation of Liability 

2.1  Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for: (a) Death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or the negligence of our employees, agents, or subcontractors. (b) Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. (c) Any breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including that the goods are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose).

2.2  Exclusions of Liability: Subject to Clause 2.1, we shall not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for: (a) Any damage caused to your bicycle, clothing, or other personal property resulting from incorrect installation or misuse of the Product contrary to the provided instructions; (b) Any indirect, special, or consequential financial losses, or loss of enjoyment, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Product.

2.3  Financial Cap: Subject to Clause 2.1, our total aggregate liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with the purchase or use of the Product shall be limited to a sum equal to the price paid by you for the Product. 

3.  Warning on Modifications

3.1  Unauthorised Alterations: Any alteration, modification, or customization of the Product, or the use of non-approved third-party spare parts, will immediately void all warranties and absolve the Company of any liability for malfunctions, damage, or accidents resulting from such changes.
